 Stephen Scarborough, 56, has been Chief Executive Officer of Standard Pacific Corp. since January 2000, and Chairman of the Board since May 2001. Since joining the Company in 1981, Mr. Scarborough has served in a variety of leadership positions, including President and Executive Vice President of the Company, as well as President of the Company's Orange County, California homebuilding operations. Mr. Scarborough was inducted into the California Building Industry Hall of Fame in 2000. He has also served on the Boards for National Advisory HomeAid America, the Orange County Boy Scouts and the City of Hope. In 2002, he was presented with the coveted "Good Scout" Award and is currently the Chairman of the Board for the Orange County Boy Scouts. |
Michael Cortney, 57, is a Director of the Company, and has been President of Standard Pacific Corp. since May 2001. Previously, Mr. Cortney served as Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of the Company. He also served as President of the company's Northern California homebuilding operations, and led the Orange County division's project planning and land acquisition functions. Mr. Cortney joined the company in 1982. He has held a number of top Building Industry Association posts at the division and regional levels, including President of the Eastern Division and Chairman of the Board of the Building Industry Association of Northern California.
