 Joel Rassman,
59, joined Toll Brothers in 1984 as Chief Financial
Officer and became a member of the Board of Directors in 1996. He
was
instrumental in preparing the company for its initial public offering
in
1986. Prior to joining Toll Brothers, Mr. Rassman was a partner
in the
international accounting firm of Kenneth Leventhal & Company,
now Ernst
& Young. He is a CPA and holds professional memberships in the
American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State
Society
of Certified Public Accountants. |
Robert Toll, 64, has led Toll Brothers as Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer since he founded the company with his brother, Bruce, in 1967.
In 1996, Mr. Toll was honored as America's Best Builder by the National
Association of Home Builders and Builder Magazine. That year, he also
received Ernst & Young's Master Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the
Bronze Award in Financial World's CEO of the Year. Before founding Toll
Brothers, he worked as a lawyer with the firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr and
Solis-Cohen in Philadelphia. He now serves on the Board of Overseers of
the University of Pennsylvania Law School and of Cornell Real Estate
School.
