 Jerry Starkey is President and CEO of WCI Communities, Inc. and serves as a member of its Board of Directors. During his 17-year tenure with the company, WCI has emerged as one of the nation's leading developers of highly amenitized lifestyle communities and residential towers, with operations in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia. WCI develops and manages recreational amenities including golf courses and marinas, and operates real estate service businesses including mortgage banking, title brokerage and Prudential/WCI Realty real estate brokerage. Starkey also oversees a comprehensive program at WCI that employs sustainable development and building practices to enhance and preserve the natural environment within WCI communities. Starkey earned a BBA from North Texas State University and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. He is involved in several charitable organizations focused on children, family issues and education. |
